Depends on many factors but if provided a complete motorcycle; 3-6 months from start. We don’t backlog motorcycles and purposely limit ourselves to no more than 3 bikes in flow at a time to ensure our focus is not distracted. We’ve never missed a target start date and have delivered earlier more than less. We pride ourselves in being professional, timely and delivering a great restoration product.

Kawi Triples has a low overhead and the hourly rate. We go over a detailed list of items that require replacement/restoration. We have kept a comprehensive cost/schedule history on every motorcycle restored as well with inflationary factors to achieve highly accurate cost estimates.
-
A 50% direct deposit based on rough order estimate is required to start the project. Another 25% is due at re-assembly point and 25% balance at completion and delivery

Every hour is tracked on time sheet. Every part purchase, repair or restoration is tracked on a cost sheet. Both are available upon request at any point during the build.

Good news – we’ve been within $17-$20 on our last two builds. Our biggest departure to date was $750 on a bike that had a completely trashed motor. We often will donate spare parts if we have them to keep costs down.
-
Yes, but it may be a higher end item cost as we add a % category described as unknowns based on experiences.
-
Yes – we have a good supply of H1, H2 restorable candidates. Your purchase price is our purchase price plus shipping from storage. Restoration cost estimates plus the motorcycle costs are discussed before restoration start.
-
No. We only perform nut and bolt back to OEM or as close to OEM as possible. Caveat owner can request improved suspension, period correct expansion chambers and period correct modified wheels if available. The beauty of our restorations is to provide a high value product from its intended show room condition.
-
We use OEM where viable and possible, however; we have no love for re-chroming OEM turn signals, gas caps, etc as the poor quality metal outgasses during processing and never comes out correctly. Reflectors and headlight beams have been a challenge also. Kawi Triples will often have obsolete parts made overseas and brought into a local supplier for sale. In this case, our customer will get the new part for our cost which in every case has been significantly better/cheaper than New Old Stock (NOS). Should a customer demand strictly NOS, the costs will be exponentially more and delays in completion should be known.

Progress can be shown at any time. Just ask. If local; feel free to stop in.
